    Our lesson types:

    • 1:1 Private Lessons
    Fully individual coaching tailored to a swimmer’s goals, pace and learning style. Ideal for beginners, nervous swimmers, technique refinement or accelerated progression.

    • 2:1 Private Lessons
    Personalised coaching for two swimmers of a similar ability - perfect for siblings or friends who want focused instruction while benefiting from shared motivation and partner learning.

  • We recommend starting with our trial lessons. These are discounted lessons that allow you to come along to a one-off lesson to meet your instructor.

  • Swimsations Edinburgh delivers high-quality, structured swimming lessons with a strong focus on confidence, safety, and clear progression. Our qualified instructors follow a consistent teaching curriculum from the STA, ensuring every swimmer receives the same high standard of coaching.

    We provide personalised progression report booklets and access to the Swimsations Edinburgh portal app, allowing families to track progress, lesson information, and key updates with ease.

    Alongside this, we run dedicated Safety Week, where swimmers practise real-life water safety skills such as floating, self-rescue, and swimming in clothing.

  • Swimsations Edinburgh lessons are held at Holiday Inn Edinburgh by IHG, right next to Edinburgh Zoo. Our pool is located at:

    It’s a convenient, well-equipped venue with good transport links and plenty of parking, making it easy for families across Edinburgh to join us for lessons

  • Yes, parking is free of charge!

  • At Swimsations Edinburgh, swimmers can start lessons from age 3 and over.

    From this age, children are typically ready to follow instructions, build water confidence independently and begin developing core swimming skills. Lessons focus on safety, confidence, floating, basic movement and early stroke foundations, with progression tailored to each swimmer’s pace.
